Wilson, Ralph Hanlon- 83, of Enfield, passed away at the Dartmouth General Hospital on Friday June 26th, 2015. Born in Gays River, he was a son of the late James and Muriel (Spares) Wilson. He retired after a long career with the Dept. of National Defence as a munitions inspector. He enjoyed gardening, was a Blue Jays fan, and enjoyed a good game of crib. He dearly loved his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Florence; his children, Cyril (Laura), Andy (Alana), Muriel (Raymond), Catherine (Rob); grandchildren, Jennifer, Mark, Lindsay, Allison, Steven, Robert, Nicholas, Dominique, Sara; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Sheldon, Madison, Olivia, Regan, Camden, Harrison, Theodore; siblings, Marguerite, Irene (Roger), Murray; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Murray “Buddy”, and Stuart; stepmother, Marjorie. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28 from 6-8PM in St Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, Enfield, from where a funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 29 at 11AM, Fr. Mike Walsh officiating. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. A reception will be held in the church basement following the interment. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Ralph may be made to the Lung Association of NS. Condolences, words of comfort, and memories of Ralph may be shared with the family at www.ettingerfuneralhome.com
