CAMPBELL, Grace Margaret – 98, Brentwood, formerly of Stewiacke East, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at the Brentwood Ponds. Born in Stewiacke East, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Adelaide (Dartt) Campbell. Grace was a community minded person. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Elm Chapter No. 48, Upper Stewiacke. Grace was a long-time member of the Sharon United Church and she attended Knox United Church, Brookfield and was a member of UCW unit 5. She bowled in the Brookfield Bowling League for many years. She had an enormous fondness for animals and cats in particular. She was a joyful person and spent years looking after her family members. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Grace was the last surviving member of her immediate family of 13 and was predeceased by brothers, George, John, Harry, Alvin, Gordon, Fred, Kenneth and Malcolm; sisters, Mary Sanders, Marjorie Henderson, Kathleen Morton and Susan in infancy. The family is forever grateful to the staff at Brentwood Ponds for your kind care of Grace during the years she spent with you. As per her wishes her remains has been donated to the Dalhousie Medical School. Visitation 1pm Friday, June 26 until time of memorial service at 2pm, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Memorial donations appreciated to Sharon United Church, Stewiacke East, the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
