DILLMAN (McMullin), Jennie Victoria, age 80, Cooks Brook. It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother Jennie Victoria (McMullin) Dillman in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on March 30, 2015 with her family by her side. Born in Lake Egmont, she was a daughter of the late Maurice and Nina (Bell) McMullin. Besides raising her family, she supported her husband Vincent in his business endeavours. Mom ran the community store and gas bar in Cooks Brook for several years. She opened her home and heart to anyone in need. She was a loving mother to daughters Betty Carroll, Cooks Brook; Dale (Billy) Singer, Cooks Brook; Sheila (Frank) Dearman, Cooks Brook; Wanda Bellefontaine, Middle Musquodoboit; her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Tina Begbie, Mitchell and Matthew Carroll, Paul, Christopher and Nicholas Taylor, Brandon, Ryan and Cory Dearman, Sara and Derek Bellefontaine and great grandchildren Vanessa Begbie, Annabel and Dario Carroll, Veigha Taylor, Robyn, Jonah and Autumn Dearman, she is also survived by sister Grace McMichael and brother Stanley (Eva) McMullin, and a very special person in her life, Linda Dillman. Jennie also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent, son Wayne and infant sons Kevin and Michael, sisters Aileen and Gladys. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Friday 6-8 pm in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie from where a funeral service will be held 3 pm, Saturday, April 4, Rev. Dr. Linda Yates officiating. Spring interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Lake Egmont. Special thanks to the staff of the 3rd floor at the Truro Hospital. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations to the Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Nuttall Hill Cemetery or a charity of choice.
